The time has come again that a new vintage of Kopar is placed on the market. This time it is 2015. The pre-booking period lasts from 15th February to 15th March. This time you can order the wood boxes with 12 bottles. If you buy 24 bottles, then a free Kopar Magnum is added as a gift. Kopar 2015 will appear on the market on 15th May and the deliveries will start that day too.
Kopar 2015 is a wine from a fruity vintage which has similar character as 2013. Even now it is nice, ripe and very fruity with pleasant spiciness in the background. Elegant, not robust wine. The lively acids give its tightness. The ratio of the varieties is the same as the previous vintages: 50% cabernet franc, 40% merlot and 10% cabernet sauvignon. We aged it big and barrique barrels and bottled it in the beginning of 2017. Since then it rests in the cellar.
