While it may not be the best-known of our wines among the general public, those familiar with our winery know that this wine, named after the estate&#8217;s namesake, embodies the essence of A.GERE and is the highest-ranked wine in our portfolio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In January, James Suckling, one of the world&#8217;s most respected wine experts, tasted our wines again, and we are now sharing his thoughts on A.GERE wines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>K\u00e9frankos 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Juicy and finely balanced, offering aromas of cherries, raspberries, dried orange peel and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, fleshy and juicy, with a compact core and a lingering finish. Drink or hold.<\/p>\n<p>93 points<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fekete J\u00e1rdov\u00e1ny 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spices, dried flowers, dark cherries and bitter oranges on the nose. Medium-bodied, tense and firm yet not heavy, with a juicy and energetic palate. Drink or hold.<\/p>\n<p>92 points<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syrah 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Crushed red and dark berries, cocoa and earth on the nose. Dusty, minerally, medium-bodied and fresh, staying focused through the finish. Drink or hold<\/p>\n<p>92 points<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vill\u00e1nyi Franc \u00d6rd\u00f6g\u00e1rok 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firm and tightly framed, with aromas of spicy dark fruit, stones and a hint of graphite. Medium- to full-bodied, firm and focused, showing chalky tannins and a lingering, mineral-driven finish. Drink or hold.<\/p>\n<p>93 points<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solus 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rich, spicy and slightly tarry, showing ripe blackberries, cocoa, licorice and wet earth on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with structured yet well-integrated tannins and a firm and focused finish. Drink or hold.<\/p>\n<p>93 points<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attila Cuv\u00e9e 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Focused and quietly complex, showing ripe dark fruit aromas and a stony mineral core layered with spices and dried herbs. Medium- to full-bodied, well composed and focused, showing a juicy flow and a smooth, seamless texture. Long and well made.
