This year’s Villány Wine Region Summer Festival will take place on 12-14 July, and what could be better than the most popular wine of the season: rosé. The headliners of this year’s Rosé Festival, which is now more than ten years old, are the Gipsy Kings.
Several concerts will be held in the festival area, with great musicians and bands entertaining the audience every night and creating a great atmosphere. The Villány Rosé Festival also offers a wide range of gastronomic delights! Local producers and restaurants will be offering delicious snacks to complement the flavours of the rosé wines.
The party run on Saturday is also a great experience, with a 3 km route through the town and the historic cellar area. The only compulsory elements of the race are pink clothing and the most cheerful accessories.
During the Rosé Festival, the Attila Gere Winery will once again host a traditional Rosé Brunch.
The programme will take place in the pavilion and the spacious courtyard of our winery on Saturday 13 July from 10:00 to 14:00, and will focus on our Frici sparkling wines, Olaszrizling and Rosé.
Our wines will be accompanied by light summer snacks, fresh fruit, surprise desserts and live music. The offer includes non-alcoholic options and other wines are available to order.
The programme also includes a guided cellar tour starting at 11:00am.
Admission is HUF 10,000 per person. Advance booking is required and can be made by emailing etterem@gere.hu.
